One of the principles of the “OUR CAMPUS” project is that all people in all life situations on campus should be taken into account. To achieve this, we work together with a wide range of institutions and people on campus. You can find a few examples below.
Diversity and Anti-Discrimination Office
OUR CAMPUS is a project affiliated to the Diversity and Anti-Discrimination Office. This results in many joint projects in direct cooperation.
AKAFÖ & BOSKOP
OUR CAMPUS is financially supported by the RUB and the AKAFÖ. We are very grateful for this and are therefore happy to cooperate with the AKAFÖ and BOSKOP. For example, the Mensa building has already been used for an exhibition. Furthermore, OUR CAMPUS has been represented in a variety of ways at the last semester kick-off parties.
The central equal opportunities office at RUB
In cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Office, various workshops have already taken place. Furthermore, a handout on awareness at events is currently being developed in cooperation. There was also an article about OUR CAMPUS in the magazine of the Equal Opportunities Office “CHANCEN=”, which you can find here.
Faculties, student councils and student representatives
UNSER CAMPUS cooperates with various faculties, student councils and student representatives. Whether through project presentations (e.g. in History and Gender Studies) or joint projects (e.g. creating your own campaigns, etc.), OUR CAMPUS is here to advise and support, but also actively involved. If you are interested, please contact us.
Psychological student counseling
Several workshops are planned together with the Psychological Student Advisory Service, as well as a project presentation as part of the “Peer Quartier meets Friends” series of events.
Initiative “Catcall-free zone”
In November and December 2023, the Bochum initiative “Catcall-Free Zone” showed its second poster campaign, designed as a traveling exhibition, in cooperation with UNSER CAMPUS in the RUB canteen. We are very pleased that this cooperation has taken place and are looking forward to further collaborations. You can find more information about the exhibition here.
